Just for today

The past flew out the window

into the dark, dark night -

All my Misgivings

and their baggage,

on the same flight

Do not fear tomorrow

for by the time it comes,

it will be Today -

Instead, lie next to me

and await the arrival

of the cool, cool light

that only truth,

courage and faith

will surely bring

For we can live,

for this moment only -

We live and breathe,

just for Today
